When BAFTA awarded 2020’s television accolades, the winners could not attend the ceremony in person,  for obvious covid-safety reasons. So as a way of celebrating their achievements, Charlie Clift, on commission from BAFTA, set about creating these stunning, unique and intimate set of portraits – each taken in a setting chosen by the stars themselves, somewhere with a special meaning to them – and of course, Covid-secure. A fitting record for the BAFTA Archives of the best talent in British television, in the year unlike any others..
