Charlie is London-based photographer, filmmaker and a mental health campaigner working globally. His work is characterised by evocative story-telling and sensitivity to the subject.When working on commissions Charlie favours close collaboration without stifling individualism, creative expression without sacrificing discipline and a sense of meaning without forgetting about the sensation of joy.
Charlie is a mental health campaigner and has used photography to support initiatives by Mental Health UK, The Photography Movement and The Harlequins Foundation as well as launching his own “Let’s Talk” – a campaign that sparked millions of conversations about mental health in the UK.
Clients include: Starz, Channel 4, The BBC, The National Theatre, The Premier League, Coca Cola, Samsung, and NatWest GQ, Wired, BAFTA, The Sunday Times Magazine, The Observer Magazine, Die Zeit, Tatler amongst others.
Charlie is a recipient of multiple awards for his portrait work and has been featured in D&ADs, American Photography Annual, The Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize, Creative Review Photo Annual, Lurzer’s Archive Best 200 Ad Photographers Worldwide, and the International Photography Awards among others.
