Test Crash

In amongst the fake blood and faint cries lies a wreckage of an imagined plane crash.
Casualties carry instructions on how to act, walking wounded, panic attack or wait 10 minutes then have a heart attack, all so the emergency services can practice their real response to this set-up disaster.
The largest exercise of its kind since the Second World War and spread throughout the grounds of an abandoned dockland warehouse, the emergency services knew nothing of this event until they arrived at the site on a routine call out.
These photographs document the calm ordered manner with which they went about their work whilst the casualties look on with uncomfortable boredom.
